Clearly You Can See The Flower!

Hello!  Welcome to Jax Bean Stalks!  I am glad to say that my little man is on the mend after a 4 day bout with a cold and a terrible cough.  Poor little guy!  What a bad way to start out a fun summer.  Hopefully he will be well enough to go to swim lessons.  Crossing my fingers.

I have a bit of a different project for you today.  The theme of Stampotique's challenge this week is "Transparent Elements" by my fellow teamie Libby.  I have to say, I was "scared" to try an acrylic card base or even to dive into one of the many acrylic albums I have in my stash.  But then I remembered, I have all of my glass shapes that I have been altering into necklaces.  I hope you like it.  It was fun spraying the papers with Tsukineko Fireworks sparkle sprays and stamping "Dandelion Duo" in a the awesome thick Versa Chalk Ink by Tsukineko...I love the deep ocean color.  Hope you like my necklace.  I cannot wait to wear it!

Hope to see you at the Stampotique Designers Challenge!  Would love to see what transparent elements you use in your craftiness!!!

Supplies:
Necklace and pendant parts: Sun and Moon Craft Kits...I am excited to say this company is located in COLORADO!!!!  They have great customer service and are super fast on shipping!  Great prices too!

Love Birds And A Couple Of Challenges!!!

Hi friends and followers.  I cannot believe that my little Bean only has 5 more in school days left.  I am so excited for him to be finished.  This has been a tough year for him and I both.  Having a teacher focus on discipline instead of teaching is just mind blowing to me.  Especially since it has effected Bean in a negative way.  Not that he is perfect (I think he is) but he is not the one that needed discipline   It was her constant negative approach to the kids that affected Bean.  Poor thing was always in fear of being her next target.  SO, we WELCOME 1st grade with open arms!

I Love RRR
This weeks challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon just screams summer!  It is a Red, White and Blue challenge.  I just LOVE this color combo for so many different reasons.  Of course it reminds me of 4th of July.  It reminds me of freedom and I just love any color combo that includes RED!

This card is also for the Stampotique Designers Challenge-Anything Goes Challenge hosted by my teamie Kim.  It is to celebrate our 100th challenge at Stampotique!

Visit both of these blogs for some awesome inspiration for all of my teamies on both teams!

I have used Really Reasonable Ribbon's May Ribbon Club.  I LOVE all the choices in this assortment.

The Stampotique stamps I have used are from Kira Nichols. "Some Budgie Loves You".

Thank you so much for stopping in today.  Hope to see you at both the Really Reasonable Ribbon Red, White and Blue challenge and the Stampotique Anything Goes Challenge.

Stampotique SDC#84 LOVE

Time for another Stampotique challenge.  So excited to share with you this fun LOVE themed card.....That almost didn't make it!!!  Well, I was at the end and gluing down my bow with a brand new bottle of "tack it over and over".  I should have been smarter than the glue.  I have had the bottle for a long time and it seemed thick.  When I squeezed it...the unthinkable happened   A BIG blob of glue right in the middle of my card.  I am talking about a blob the size of a silver dollar!  Can you tell?  I took a piece of card stock and scraped it the best I could.  I can't see it...I hope you can't either.

I have used the stamp by Kira Nicols called "Line Up".  I just love it!!!

Hope you have time to play in our challenge HERE.
