Shiver Me Timbers

Happy Tuesday to all my friends and followers here at Jax Bean Stalks.  Hope everyone enjoyed the day off for Martin Luther King Jr.'s Holiday here in the US.  It was a day to clean and put away the Christmas tubs for me.  Other than that, this weekend was a bust.  My poor Bean went to the doctor on Friday with what I thought was strep throat.  It ended up he just has really swollen tonsils could be tonsillitis.  Never really affected his energy or appetite.  So back to school tomorrow!

Well Shiver Me Timbers I have Pirate Owen on my blog to share with you today.  I have colored him with Spectrum Noir markers.  I paper pieced his hat with papers from Carta Bella Giddy Up designer papers.  This little cuttie card is going in my Bean's lunch box tomorrow.  With the long weekend I know he will have a hard time going back to school tomorrow.  He is attached at my hip when he is off so it makes it hard to get back into the swing of things with just having had 4 days off.  Hopefully this card will cheer him up in the middle of the day.

Santa's Little Helper

Hello friends and followers.  I cannot believe tomorrow is already Thanksgiving!  It has come so fast this year.  I have already started marathon cooking!!  How about you...what have you all been cooking?

Did you see my turkey card I created using Pilgrim Owen (I cut Owen out and just used the turkey)?  You can take a peek and see the happy little turkey.  Let me know what you think!

I have to switch gears from fall and Thanksgiving cards to Christmas cards.  I LOVE all the red and green.  What are your favorites about holiday projects?  

My card today features Santa Owen.  Isn't he just adorable with his bag full of goodies!!!  You can find other PND images with the Holiday theme here.

Check out his fur.  I used puff paint to give it some dimension.  So much fun to have a puffy element in the holiday cards.

Fall is Here!

Happy Saturday JBS friends and followers.  Well it is now officially fall and I feel like I should avoid sharing any more summery themed projects.  I have now accepted that I will be using fall colors and images! Boo! LOL!!!  

My card today is for Color Me Creative's Fall colors challenge.  Come join us and use any coloring medium you wish.  Just make sure you are coloring with those "Fall Colors"!

A Snowy Birthday
