Hey Pumpkin

Hello friends and fans.  Today is my last day posting for Really Reasonable Ribbon for awhile.  It has been so much fun being a part of this fabulous team.  I just wanted to say Thank You to Bonnie for all the fabulous ribbon and especially for the friendship.  I will be back in the new year and will look forward to posting for RRR again.

Today I have a simple CAS card.  I have used one of my favorite fall ribbons called Plaid Ribbon Orange with Black Stitching.

I tied my bow using the Bow It All 2.0.  You can find this amazing bow maker on the RRR site.  Bonnie has a ton of fabulous bow tutorials on the RRR YouTube channel.  The majority of them show how to use the Bow It All 2.0.  Take a peek the tutorials are super easy to follow along with.

Thanks so much for stopping in and peeking at my CAS "Hey Pumpkin" card.  Hope you have a great week.

Tricks For Faux Washi

Hello Jax Bean Stalks friends and followers!  It is hop time again with Really Reasonable Ribbon!  So excited to showcase beautiful September's Ribbon Club!!!
If you are hopping with us today, you should have arrived from Theresa's Blog.

Check out the September's Ribbon Club ribbons.  Love the festive feel of the September Ribbon Club Ribbons.

These fun ribbons were perfect to make a faux washi tape card.  I added adhesive strips to the backs of each ribbon and stuck them to my card.  They achieve the same fun look washi tape does.  You can find all these fun ribbons in the September Ribbon Club or separately at Really Reasonable Ribbon.

The splatters were achieved by taking an alcohol marker and whipping it forward towards my card.  A lot of times when you markers are full, the ink will come out easily.

Thank so much for stopping in today.  Enjoy the rest of the hop!  You are now off to your next stop,

Gouling Good Time

Hello!  I just love this time of year, don't you??  Especially since Halloween in just around the corner.  You know that 2 months is going to FLY by!!!

Today I have made a card to get you into the spirit of Fall and Halloween.  I pulled out Deloris (my Silhouette).  I cut out two circles and attached them together with foam tape.  I used a Sharpie and outlined the large circle and added legs.  Super easy little spider.  His "web" is Bakers Twine in Halloween.

I made the fun bow on the front of the card using 3 different Really Reasonable Ribbons and black lace.  The base of my bow is Plaid Ribbon in Orange with Black Stitching.   Then I added Sheer Ribbon with 4 Thin Satin Stripes in Black.  Finally the last part of my bow is a tripple loop of 3/8" Gingham Orange.  Once I tied my bow I added it on top of Glady's Black Crochet Lace.  All of these fun ribbons are found at Really Reasonable Ribbon.

This is not the last of these fun little spiders.  I plan on doing a few more layouts before Halloween.  Maybe even a quick tutorial!

Thanks for stopping by!  Happy Hump Day!  Enjoy the rest of your week.

Witch Way

Hello everyone!  So glad you joined me today!  I cannot believe it is almost OCTOBER!!!  This year has gone by so fast.  Guess it is time to start thinking about Halloween!  I LOVE Halloween!  Today I have a fun Halloween card for you.

I have used the NEW Satin Swiss Dots Ribbon (it was also in the Sept. Ribbon club assortment) from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I tied little knots and attached them to the side of my card!  I really like the look of this ribbon...hope you do too!  My card features a stamp from Crafters Companion.  It is called Best Witches.  If you haven't seen the selection of Halloween stamps yet, head on over to CC to check them out!  You will fall in LOVE!

The ribbon really looks great with this fun Halloween themed image and papers.  My witch legs are colored with the following Spectum Noir Alcohol Markers:  OR1, OR2, OR3.  These orange family colors give my little witchy legs the effect of "glowing".  I love how it turned out!  The legs are colored with PL4.  The shoes are IG6, IG10.  The stars are FL3.

Thanks for joining me today!

World's Spookiest Halloween...

Hello Jax Bean Stalks friends and followers!  It is hop time again with Really Reasonable Ribbon!  So excited to showcase beautiful September Ribbon Club!!!
If you are hopping with us today, you should have arrived from Cherry's Blog.

Check out the September Ribbon Club ribbons.  I am a huge fan of Halloween.  At my house we always have a party and Trick-O-Treat as a group while it is still light...you know for the littler ones.  This year might be the transition year where my little kid is bigger....booooooo!!!!

This fun tag is not only for RRR, but it is also for Spectrum Noir.  I have used a alcohol ink watercoloring technique featuring the OR colors.  The shading from dark to light is OR3, OR2, OR1.  It is a super fun technique that I will be videoing and and posting sometime next week.  So keep an eye out for this technique here on my blog and also on the SN blog too!

Glass and Crossbones

Welcome to Jax Bean Stalks!  Jenn here with a fun project for the boys (or girls) depending on what Really Reasonable Ribbon you choose!  Today I have a fun tutorial on how to make a glass tile necklace with Grosgrain ribbon.  This project is perfect for holiday gifts.  This necklace was a hit with my 7 year old son!

1.  You will need Grosgrain Ribbon, a glass tile, Diamond Glaze, E6000 adhesive.
2.  Coat the back of your glass time with a thin layer of Diamond Glaze. Add strips of ribbon being careful not to overlap.
3.  Push together the ribbon in order for their to be no gaps between each piece.
4.  Let dry at least 24 hours.  Then add another layer of Diamond glaze to seal the back.  Let this dry another 24 hours.

Add bail on the back of the tile with E6000 adhesive.

Thank so much for visiting today.
