Oh The Webs we Weave

Well, it is already the last week of September....I think I better get in gear with a Halloween costume for Bean.  I just wish I knew how to sew more than paper....would make costuming a bit easier!

The Cutting Cafe is showcasing everything Chevron this week.  With the approach of the Haunting Hour, I decided to dress my Chevrons in a sparkly web.  The web and spidarious can be found HERE.  The Chevron I used is actually a cutting file!  LOVE IT!!! Deloris (AKA Silhouette Cameo) did a fab job cutting out all these fun SVG's!

I hope all your webs sparkle this Halloween!!!

Join us at The Cutting Cafe this Wednesday for more inspiration using Chevrons from my other fellow DT members.  Thanks for visiting!

Hope you enjoy my project and also take the time to visit all my teamies from Stampotique Originals...they are all so talented.  If you are hoping with us today, you should have arrieved from Kim Howards blog.  Man -O- man is she talented!!!

I am featuring the talented Maria Sabina Raita's stamp collection.  She is one of my teamies.  This is her first stamp collection.  Very proud to be on a team with her.  Enjoy...this little bunny is "Rainy Day".  It is paired with the "Weather is Changing" sentiment.

Today is our last day of the hop and the images you have been seeing the last few days are now available over on the Stampotique website.

The Cutting Cafe Loopy Loop Bow-Flower

The Cutting Cafe

Happy Friday!  I am really excited to announce with the new year I will be designing for Regina Easter.  She owns the Famous "The Cutting Cafe".  As you remember I was on Regina's team from January-August 2011.  I had to take a required (would have stayed forever if she let me!!!) break....NOW I AM BACK!  It is really great to be part of this fabulous team once again.  Regina is one of the nicest most generous people I know...not to mention being super talented!!  Since I was on the team, Regina has given The Cutting Cafe a face lift.  Her site and blog look amazing!  I hope you will all take the time to visit Regina and her amazing SVG cutting files.  She also has a bazillion adorable digital stamps.

Our first assignment was to use the New

I cut out my bow flowers using the SCAL software for my Cricut Machine.  I know you cannot get the version I have any longer.  If I had to get rid of it...I would be getting rid of the Cricut and getting a new machine.  Probably an Eclipse like my bestie has.  She is already an expert!  I just couldn't live without SCAL!  It is the most amazing software ever!

Here is another example of the Loopy Loop Bow-Flower but I sized it down.  These bow flowers are about 1" across.  The upper bow flower is about 2.5".  The Card is also on of Regina's shaped cards.

Please visit the rest of my teamies HERE.  They have used the same cutting file.  There are some really awesome projects!
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit.

I hope you will be able to stop by tomorrow.  Paper Makeup Stamps is having our Blog Hop with a fabulous new release!

Cheers,

Is your friend a Beastie or a Bestie?? I know what my friend is......

Welcome friends!  I have another Hambo post this week.  I am really excited because the rubber team is getting a chance to be featured with the digi team at the Hambo Hoedown!
Every Wednesday!

Our challenge is to case another card.  I used one I found in the Hambo Gallery.  I was on a good start, but then as always I had to do a shaped card.  Then had to add my own twist....so needless to say, I don't know if I "cased" it very well!

Here is my card

Paper: Theresa Colling, Bo Bunny
Stamps: Beast, Beast Friends Forever (Hambo)
Template: The Cutting Cafe
Ink: Memento
Extras: Ribbon, Stitch

I just want to take this time to thank Monica, Tim & Judy for a fabulous time on this team.  I have truly found my favorite stamp company!  Not only has this been a unique experience on a Design Team, but it has been more fun!  I just love the new friends I have made here at Hambo.  Thank you so much for the opportunity to use and design with Hambo images.  I will be forever grateful!

Hambo's : "Sing Your Art Out" Blog Hop!

Welcome to "Sing Your Art Out" sponsored by Hambo Stamps! Today Hambo friends, customers, and the Bacon Bits Design Team are bringing you fun creations that depict song titles! It might be our favorite song, or just one that was fun to design. If you arrived here from Mary's Blog you are in the right place! If not, you might want to start back at the beginning at the Hambo blog to make sure you are eligible for the hopper prize!

A prize will be awarded to one participant whose song-themed creation tickles the Bacon Bits’ fancy in a singin' wingin' way! Another prize will be awarded randomly to a hopper who comments on all the blogs along the hop. The winners will be announced on the Hoedown blog, as well as on the Hambo company blog, Talk to the Ham, on Wednesday, September 21.

My creation was inspired by the 1980 song that was written and made famous for the movie "Honeysuckle Rose".  In 2011 this song was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Warm up those vocal chords and be prepared to sing! Now hop on over to Paige's Blog for another great sing-along song!

You're a Lifesaver!

There is another Hoedown at the Hambo Stamps blog.  Have you been???  You will receive a free digi to play in next weeks challenge after entering your project featuring a Hambo stamp this week!  Plus you get a chance at winning this week!  Can't beat that!  I don't know of any other company who gives away a free digi just for playing!  Hope you can join us!

For my Hambo project this week I have gone in a different direction than a card.  I have made this adorable little pillow box.  It has a window!  You can find the template at The Cutting Cafe.  I used the life guard stand stamp with the You're a lifesaver sentiment

My picture didn't come out fabulous like usual!  So sorry :0(
I will give all the details of this card when I return from my trip.

Hang 10

I can almost smell the ocean from here.....and maybe with a little magic fairy dust from "Dude the Surfer Fairy", I will be there!

This is one of my favorite fairy's from PMS.  I love dude because he has longer hair...like Bean AND he is on a surf board!  The quality of the rubber from Paper Makeup Stamps is fabulous.  It really makes it easy to get a clear stamped image...even with all the detail.  Hope you are able to Hand 10 today!  Thanks for stopping by!

Sand Castle Boy

This week I have this adorable little guy...Sand Castle Boy. He can be found at Hambo Stamps HERE.  I used the flower pot cutting file from The Cutting Cafe and used SCAL to alter it a bit to look like a sand bucket.  Come check out the current HOEDOWN over at the Hambo Challenge blog HERE.  This week we have a fun color challenge Red, Teal, and one of the following: White, Kraft or Ivory.  All you have to have is a Hambo image and you are set!

Sand Castle Boy is colored with copics.  I used a technique I found in the new Copic Coloring Technique Book.  I get the textured look by pouncing my colorless blender over my image.  I have to admit I was a bit scared because I spent a bit of time getting him perfect....but honestly the whole scene turned out amazing with this technique.  Please try it....and for more fun techniques using your copics please visit Color Me Creative Challenges HERE.  We are having our "brunette" challenge through next Friday.  Would love to see your creations

Stamps: Sand Castle Boy & Sentiment (Hambo)
Paper: Germany

Extras: Copics, Airbrush, Colorless blender, Ribbon (May Arts) (The Ribbon Boutique), eyelets
