I Want to Suck Your Blood...HEHEHE

Hello!  I don't know about you but I am in full Halloween mode.  I just love this fun and festive holiday.  Love how the kiddies get so excited planning their costumes!  LOVE all the candy!

Today I am sharing with you Wee Henry Vampire from Hambo Stamps. Hope you love him as much as I do.  It is hard to see but I did tiny little sparkles all over his face and hand.  I don't know but I think I was having an Edward Cullen moment while coloring.  It is so silly but I really secretly LOVE Twilight!

Have you checked out all of the fun Halloween digital stamps Hambo has to offer?  There are a few click HERE.

My ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon: Gingham, Black 3/8 inch.

Creepy Faux Vellum

Hello to all my creepy friends and fans here at Jax Bean Stalks.  So excited it is finally October so I can overload you with spooktacular Halloween projects!

It is the Hambo Hoedown today.  So hop on over to the Hambo blog and enter your card to our Vellum challenge.  You DO NOT have to use a Hambo Stamp image to enter!  Your card just has to have Vellum in the design.

Are you liking the look of my Faux Vellum?  Well, after breaking the bank in gas and running all over my town...I was without vellum.  So, as suggested by my wonderful pig pen teamies, I used parchment paper.  Now let me tell you, I had a time getting it to lay straight.  Nothing a little alcohol didn't take card of.  It ran through my printer like a breeze.  I have used "Spider Web" digi and it turned out fabie!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a happy hump-day!

A Wholatta Hambster

Hello and welcome to Jax Bean Stalks!  Hope you are all having a terrific week!

Last night I had a very interesting conversation with my little Bean.  At school they are doing a "red, white and blue" day in remembrance of 9/11.  Bean has a really cool flag oxford shirt.  I showed him what he was wearing and he of course wanted something different.  I then had to explain what today is.  I explained it in terms that hopefully will not make him scared to get on an airplane again.  The kid has a memory like an elephant, so no telling what he will say the next trip on a plane.
To all of those affected by the 9/11 tragedies.  You have my sincere condolences.  I hope that you will be able to find peace in this day of reflection.

My megalodon-hamster is from Hambo Stamps.  It is called: Hamster Heart.  Isn't he just adorable.  I really love the effect of blowing him up to the size of my cardbase (4x5.5).

Our challenge today at the Hoedown is to use those (outdated) fun decorative scissors.  I used pinking shears.  It worked great with my EP "All About A Boy" designer 6x6 paper.

.

I just love the way the fun "dot" technique turns out on little animals.  Makes them look furry!!

Thank you so much for joining me today.  Enjoy the rest of your week.

Headband Bunny Hoedown

Welcome to Jax Bean Stalks!  So glad to be here today.  Man I had a fabulous Labor Day Holiday...How about you?  What did you and your families do for the weekend (even if you are not in the US)?  I had a sports extravaganza of a weekend.  We traveled to Denver for a Denver Broncos game.  What a show the NFL puts on.  I am a HUGE college football fan...so the pros move a little too quick for my liking.  But the stunt teams and the white horse.  All fun to see!  Then we did a Colorado Rockies game.  Helton is the bomb for his age (hehehehe only a couple years older than me!).  2 home runs and a carrier record in runs.  So exciting!  And I loved me some of them chocolate covered strawberries that Coors field always has!  We rounded off the weekend with the CU vs CSU game... Yea baby....CU 41 CSU 27!!!  We really had excellent seats and the fans are the best!  Love those college kids!!!!

Today I have a fun little Headband Bunny digital image from Hambo Stamps.  We are having our weekly challenge over at the "Hoedown".  Hope you will join us for our Pink, Grey and Yellow color challenge.  My bow is made from Fuchsia Wrinkled Ribbon found at Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I LOVE doing fun backgrounds with my Copics!  These little dots turned out to be perfect!!!  Almost made those little bunnies look jittery.

I mirrored my image and then printed each once!  I like how they almost look like they are dancing!

That Wrinkle Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon is awesome!  It is so floppy.  Makes the perfect loopy bow!

Thank you for visiting!  See you at the Hoedown!

Bark to School

**Scroll down for my CMC post**

Hello followers and friends of Jax Bean Stalks.  How's everyone doing?  Are you busy running the kiddies around to school and all the fun extracurricular activities that come after school?  Man o man...I sure am busy.  I really enjoy it because Bean enjoys it!  Right now we are in fall baseball.  We had our 1st game last night and another tonight.  I just hate that it makes the evening really short.  Such a rush to get home and still get everything finished.  I am one to make lunches at night, line up the water bottle, backpack in place, cloths are pick out for the next two weeks (I know a little obsessive).  But really if you spent just about 2 hours on a Sunday, you would be amazed at the time and stress it saves during the week...totally worth it!!!

My question:  If you have kids in school or had kids in school, what was the #1 after school activity you enjoyed your kids participating in the most?

I have to say so far I enjoy him in baseball!  But kick-boxing is fun too (Bean does both).

Today I am featuring an adorable digi from Hambo Stamps.  School Dog is so darn cute!  Love his little sweater (reminds me that winter is around the corner here in CO).  He is all ready to go "bark to school"...lol!  I made him for the current challenge at the Hambo Hoedown.  Hope you will join us for "Back to School" themed challenge.  Use primary colors, teacher gift, notepad, crayon holder etc....

My ribbon and twine are from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The ribbon is Stitched Sheer/Satin Ombre Royal Blue.  The twine is bakers twine Air Mail.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I appreciate all your fun comments about my cards.
