Just Clucking Around!

Hi friends and followers!  Had a great class tonight.  Wonderful friends making rolled flowers using various dies!  Too much fun to teach.  So funny to watch someone trying to roll their 1st flower.  In the end the entire class got the hang of it!
Tonight I am posting my project for Paper Pretties.  I just LOVE this PUNNY set! "Cluck part II"  I know it maybe will offend some of you...totally not the intention!  Just got to laugh and have fun with it!!!  Life is to short to be uptight!

This card is for the Paper Pretties Challenge this week: Make your own background.

LOVE the expression on this funny little chickens face.  She has a case of the "Give me a break's"!

Thanks for dropping in this evening!

Paper Pretties: I am Sweet On You!

Good morning!  I am totally over the cold here in Colorado.  I am so ready for summer.  I mean you look outside and it "looks lovely" but step out and it is in the 20's.  I am such a warm weather person that the first snow is somewhat nostalgic and then I am ready for summer!
This week at Paper Pretties we a having a Red, White and Pink challenge.  I was really excited when my stamps arrived from Heather, the owner of PP.  She is so nice!  She even sent some fun ribbon and paper goodies!  So much fun!
Hope you like my card using the adorable clear stamp set: Life is Sweet.  I love old gumball machines!  I still have mine from when I was little.  It is almost identical to this one...only it sits on a black pedestal.

I love the tiny heart that fits so perfect in those little gumballs!  There is a cute little face in the set too.

Hope you can join in the challenge!

Paper Pretties Challenge: New Technique

Hello!  Today I have a fab tutorial on how to do triple stamping!!!!

It features this adorable stamp from Paper Pretties.
Lets get right to it!

Cut 3 sizes of paper.  Make sure they graduate evenly.  My large square is 3.5 inches, medium 2.5 and small 1.5 inches.  Stack layers and center.  Secure all three with removable adhesive.  Stamp your image in the center of the stack of three.

Color image (and or airbrush as I did!) and then remove adhesive.

Mat all three squares.

Realign the matted layers and secure with permanent adhesive.

Here is my finished card.

Please come and play with us at Paper Pretties Blog.

The final curtain call!

I have a very bittersweet good bye to my favorite DT.  The Cutting Cafe has been my creative "go to" for the past 8 months.  Regina is one of the most generous people I have ever met.  She has an abundance of talent...and by far the COOLEST digital/cutting files around!  Thanks so much Regina for allowing me to be on your team.  You know I will be watching for the DT call in 4 months!  All the new/oldies have a wonderful time on the DT!  You are all very lucky to have Regina as a boss!

Do you love this cute Stationary Box (I used it as an M&M box)?  Well I am giving it away!  All you have to do is comment!  I will pick a random comment on Saturday September 3, 2011.  Good Luck.  All the other girls on the DT are giving away a set too!  Hop to The Cutting Cafe Blog and it will lead you to the other members of the team!  There are 11 chances to win.  All you have to do is comment on each individual team members post on their personal blogs!

This adorable box is also for the Paper Pretties Challenge this week.  Anything but a card!   This is my last post as a Guest Designer with the Paper Pretties girls.  I really enjoyed my time with this group.  Thank you to Heather and Francis both!

Good morning!  I am a guest designer for the rest of this month at Paper Pretties!  I am really excited to participate in this weeks challenge!  It is back to school time  Wooooowhooooooo!  (did that come out wrong...as if I would want my little Bean back at school!-quite stamping listening to Pandora and skyping with stamping friends!)  LOL!!!  Just kidding!  I really have a ton of fun with Bean!  He is quite the character!
For my post today, I have this adorable "Give Thanks" stamp set from Paper Pretties.  I didn't use the Thanks part of the set.  Just the cutie little girl!  She is all dressed in pink and ready for her first day of class.  I used a bingo template from Regina over at The Cutting Cafe.  She has a bunch of ADORABLE back to school digis.  Perfect for that teacher on the first day of school.  Plus go visit and check out Regina's new storefront and blog!
