Birthday Be Bright and A Hop

Check out the June's Ribbon Club ribbons.  These bright, fun colors are sure to make any one of your cards or projects POP with color.

I have used all the ribbons that come in the May Ribbon Club packet...except for the beautiful lace.  I have added lots of layered ribbon and topped them off with cute little bows made for the same ribbons.  I tied these fun miniture bows using the Bow It All 2.0 found at Really Reasonable Ribbon.

The ribbons I used are:  Sheer organza with satin center orange, Summer Fun Diamond Print Grosgrain, Grosgrain w/Silver Edges Hot Pink, Turquoise Satin with Swiss Dots Ribbon, Plaid Ribbon Medium Pink, 3/8" Satin w/Silver Metallic Edges Tangerine, Summer Fun Confetti Dots Grosgrain, and Checkerboard Satin Turquoise.  Which one is your favorite???  M sentiment is from Crafter's Companion.  It is found in the most resent issue of the Crafter's Inspiration Magazine.  Yes the magazine comes with fabulous CC goodies.

Flat Shaker Card Tell All Video

Hi all!  Today I have another one of the Crafter's Companion Create A Card dies.  This one is the Birthday Celebration die.  Below I have several pictures of this fun Birthday Card and a Tell All Video on how to make a fun Shaker Card with this intricate die.

My ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  It is Delicate Stitched satin in Royal.

Happy Birthday Kendra!!!

Hi everyone!  Today we as a team are honoring one of our leaders, Kendra from Kendra's Card Company.  She is a super sweet lady and is full of fun and inspiring inspiration for every style of card crafter.  Today we (Crafter's Companion DT) want to wish her a very Happy Birthday!!  She is one of the most organized people I know and has a eye for design.  I hope you have a great day Kendra! You deserve to relax and have fun!!!  No working allowed!

I have created a card using the Crafter's Companion Embossing folder called Make A Wish.  I used the embossing folder stamping technique which can be found in the video below.  I shot the video late spring and it was a technique I featured for Crafter's Companion.  It is really easy and makes for a quick card with stunning results.  Hope you all like it.

I used Sentimentals EZMount Stamp Set- Imagine for my sentiment.  Twill Chevron Black and White Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon too!

The Simple Birthday Card

Hello Friends and Followers!  Today I have a super simple card for you.  It is using a die that will enable you to create the entire card in one simple die cut.  Then you can leave it as is OR embellish it like I did with a couple more die cuts and some ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  

This is the fun Create-A-Card die.  It is so simple to just whip up a card in a few minutes.  This one is called "Birthday Star" and can be purchased at Crafter's Companion.

Cupcake Birthday

Happy day after Thanksgiving AKA...BLACK FRIDAY!!!  Hope you all are having fun shopping and scooping up fabulous deals!

Today I have some fabulous projects featuring our newest release at Crafter's Companion.  My projects are featuring a cupcake box, cupcake wrapper, create-a-card and a fabulous embossing folder.

I also have a video on how I made the cupcake box.  Don't forget to give me a thumbs up if you enjoy my video!!

The cupcake box is the "Single Cupcake Favor Box" and it features the "Cupcake insert (tag) Star die" and the "Forget Me Knot flower die".  I have also tied the top of the cupcake favor box with Really Reasonable Ribbon's Azalea Shimmer Satin ribbon.

Happy Birthday To ME!  LOL!!!  I share my birthday with some cool stars!  Russell Crowe (has anyone seen his new movie Noah?), Billie Holiday, and Jackie Chan!  I really just missed a good one though by just a couple days Pharrell Williams turned 41 on the 5th.  I just LOVE his Happy music video (and the song!)

Hi everyone!  Hope you all had a great weekend.  Yes today is my birthday.  We did a little bit of celebrating this weekend.  I got to go to my favorite sushi restaurant.  Love, love, love me some sushi.  Bean even loves it.  It was so much fun sitting up to the sushi bar and watching the fabulous guys roll up a storm.

Today I have this fun card for the newest release at Crafters Companion-Every Day With Barkley.  He is so cute in his little crown.  I also added a birthday sentiment from the Sentimintials-Memories Are Made set.  My twine is from Really Reasonable Ribbon...love the blue and white stripe.  

I have used Spectrum Noir markers in the following colors to color this fun Barkley image: IG2,3,4,8 BGR2,3 GB4,6,7 TB8.

Pennant Banner Tutorial

I am so excited for Battle Of The Books!!!  My little Bean read all 23 books and is the only one in his class to finish.  So very proud of him!  What a smarty pants!  Going to have to do something special come Thursday for him and his team of 4!  Hope he can pull them along.  One has only read 6, one has read 17 and the last only 10.  EEEKKKK!  He has a lot of pressure on him to remember!  I practiced with them last Monday before he got sick again.  They all did good.  So silly at this age!
