Its a Sketchy Hoedown!

This week on the Hambo challenge blog we are having a sketchy hoedown!  My fellow teamie Carolina made the sketch for us this week...great job!

Here is my card using the adorable digi "Monster Weights".

There are 3 really cute sentiments that come with Monster Weights.  I used "Thought you could use a lift"

This is my first time making a rosette.  I found a really cool tutorial by Kim at My Favorite Things!

The Cutting Cafe-Calendar Card

Good Morning.  Happy Friday to everyone.  Want to wish everyone a crafty weekend. 

Today I have a card made from one of the adorable calendars offered over at The Cutting Cafe.  These make perfect reminder calendars for Birthdays, Anniversaries and special events.  There is one for every month.  I used February and made it into a card.  The sentiment is from Paper Makeup Stamps.  It is the perfect sentiment to give a friend during a breakup or loss.  Hope you like it!

Ready to Hoedown, metallic style?

It is time for the Hambo Hoedown.  This week the digital team had the opportunity to use the adorable DRAGON.  Isn't he the cutest?  Well, he was perfect to put on top of this adorable candy box.  I used the box to fill with Hershey Kisses for my little Bean for V-Day.  

The Challenge at the Hoedown is to use a Hambo Image and to create a project using gold or silver.  Cannot wait to see you at the Hoedown! 

I added as much silver as I could to the image using a gel twinkle pen (I hope I used the right name!).

I used this crazy silver wire to accent my bow.  I also colored a clear plastic rhinestone button with BV08 Copic marker...using my airbrush.  Turned out really great!

Let me say, I am very excited to do this post.  It is my first post for Sweet Stamps.  Stacey and Sandy have been working very hard getting the new DT their products!  I was just able to get my stamp for this challenge yesterday...by the skin of my teeth!  Thank you so much to Sandy for sticking with me on this one!  And Thank you to Stacey for her efforts as well!
